Driving hundreds of miles the last couple of days gives you time to contemplate things, life included. I recently left home in south Walton to travel to Orlando, taking my mother to the funeral of her childhood friend of 76 years. We then drove to Jacksonville, to see an ailing cousin of my mom's, and her sister-in-law (my dad's sister), who has stage 4 cancer.
We look at relationships we have, friends and family. Life is too short, for one thing. There is no reason to have unresolved issues for lengths of time. We can all "man up" if you will. If you have a problem with a friend or family member, or feel that they have wronged you, well then, tell them why you feel that way.
Don't just shut them out, never telling them why, or how you feel if you have been hurt. I believe everyone should be upfront with one another. You never know what your tomorrow will bring...nor that of your friend or loved one.
