Sunsets

Ok...it's been a while since I last blogged....I have been soooo busy, and so have my second shooters--Alaina in Florida, and Dustin in Alabama....
Maybe no excuse, but believe me, every spare moment I have is either shooting pictures on the beach or in front of the computer editing pictures and putting them online or fulfilling print orders...no spare time! Seems like when we live at the beach, we have no time to go to the beach!!!
Tonight was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen...and believe me, I am out on the beach every night taking pictures of families who are here on vacation...Most of the time when it is raining close to sunset, no other photographers show up at our favorite places on Okaloosa Island. I ALWAYS tell my families to meet me, whether it is raining or not...I always pray that the Lord will stop the rain, just at least 30 minutes or so, in order to take pictures. There has NEVER been a time that the Lord has NOT stopped the rain for me..I believe that it will happen and it does.
Such was the occasion tonight...Melynda and her family traveled from near Panama City Beach to meet me on the Island...we met at 6:30 and sat in our cars until at least 7 pm, with me praying the entire time...By 7 we were able to get out of the cars and get on the beach and get some amazing pictures with the most beautiful sunset of the season!!!
You can say: whatever, or sure, it just happened to be that way, but, I know where my trust is...!!"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5,6)
Check out some of the photos to see!!

Today we traveled two hours to Dothan, Alabama to visit with Dustin and Joy and grandbaby Noah, who is now 11 days old...Adorable, huh?
