Kiwi

About two years ago Craig and I were in Key West--our favorite place to vacation--and I had seen all the chickens running the streets....I had always wanted to grab a chickadee, but Craig said, let's go to the Chicken Store, which was on Duval Street back then...It has since closed due to a lack of funding...but at that time, we went inside and they said they would adopt out the chickens for free...We adopted two chicks, only to find out that one was a rooster, which we gave to the local animal shelter....Then we kept KiWi, which was key west for short....she fell in stride with the rest of our birds...10 to be exact..and she would jump on my arm for a treat....Well, anyway, as my tears fall, KiWi died last week and I don't know why....she was only two years old, but we loved her and she will enjoy life everlasting!!!

Watercolor vacation

The Haydel family came to Watercolor yesterday and we had fun roaming around the grounds and then to the beach. Dalton was a very expressive 4-year-old!

Family Gathering

The Bell family got together over Easter weekend, coming from New Orleans, Mississippi, and Pensacola...they had a lot of fun, and I had fun capturing this loving family!

Windy day

Pam and Dave and their family met with me on Wednesday and the wind was blowing so hard that the sand felt like we were being sandblasted...anyway, they were good sports and we had a good time!
