Tropical Storm Ida waves on Monday

Ida went from Hurricane to Tropical Storm...thank you God! Here are the waves on Monday. Some county workers removing some beach signs in case of strong winds.

Volunteered my time today at PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society) to photograph their kitties for their website. It was so fun and Tiffany was a great help!

Amber

Pretty Amber was a selected model today. She plans a future in the radiation field. She is a natural!

Sweet Holly

Just received word today that Holly will be cremated, and a service will be held this week in New Jersey, where her mom, Carol is from. Then next week there will be a service here with some of her ashes to be scattered in or around Destin. Will keep you posted. Video to follow with some of her same senior pictures, this time with music from Third Day----Cry Out To Jesus.

First day of November, 2009

A beautiful afternoon...Craig and I chose to spend the end of the day on the pier on Okaloosa Island. We checked out the fishermen on the pier, and then saw the military guys swim from the beach...around the pier...and back to the beach on the other side...Weren't they afraid of sharks? A lifeguard we talked to on the pier said she has seen many there. Oh well, they made it to the beach, but the air was cool and the water must have been really chilly.
